Drawing on the design language of Akrapovič exhaust systems for Ducati V2 motorcycles, the system is constructed from race-proven materials and features a sandblasted, high-grade lightweight titanium muffler outer sleeve with a stainless-steel inner structure, complemented by a handcrafted carbon-fibre end cap and heatshield designed to protect the rider’s gear. An imprint on the muffler adds a dynamic visual touch while providing additional strength for enhanced durability. The use of lightweight materials results in a weight reduction of 9.1 % (0.3 kg) compared to the standard stock exhaust system. The Slip-On (Titanium) also enhances the sound of the twin-cylinder engine, delivering a vivid and deep exhaust note.
Back-to-back testing on the Akrapovič dyno recorded increases of 1.9 kW (2.6 hp) at 9,000 rpm and 1.9 Nm at 8,500 rpm compared to a Ducati Monster V2 fitted with the standard stock exhaust. EC/ECE type approved and Euro 5+ compliant, the system offers simple plug-and-play installation with no need for remapping.
