The Euro 5+ system is made from lightweight titanium and finished with a handmade carbon-fibre end cap and heatshield, both designed from scratch. Power gains of 1.0 kW (1.3 hp) at 12,000 rpm and torque increases of 1.0 Nm at 5,500 rpm have been measured for this system with a double-flow muffler when compared to a Suzuki GSX-R1000RR equipped with the standard stock system and tested on the Akrapovič in-house dyno. A deep and sporty sound is emitted from the exhaust, which has an EC/ECE type-approval certificate. The simple plug-and-play installation means no remapping is needed.
