This product was developed using our vast knowledge from previous generations of aftermarket exhaust systems for Porsche Panamera models. It is constructed from high-grade lightweight titanium, with parts manufactured at the in-house foundry, including the exhaust valve housing. It is finished with newly designed handmade carbon-fibre tailpipes with acoustic reflectors, designed to reflect the external sound toward the cabin. The sound is regulated by a specially developed control kit, which uses valves to provide the optimal sound experience of an Akrapovič exhaust in all drive modes, without compromising comfort. It delivers a rich high-frequency sound with a sporty note for V6 models, and the V8 versions create an orchestral harmonic rumble with a sporty note as the revs rise. Both engines produce a smooth tone through the exhaust without any drone for maximum everyday comfort. The exhaust system offers a substantial weight saving of 46% (8.6 kg) over the V8 sport stock version and 44.5% (8.3 kg) over the V6 sport stock system.
The Slip-On Line (Titanium) installed on the Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid produced an increase in power of 7.1 kW (9.7 hp) at 6450 rpm and a torque gain of 11 Nm at 5150 rpm when tested on the Akrapovič dyno against the equivalent car fitted with a sport stock exhaust system. No remapping is needed when installing.
An Evolution Link Pipe Set (Titanium) and an optional Akrapovič Sound Kit to increase the aural pleasure can be added to the Slip-On Line (Titanium). They were both developed for use on closed-course competition circuits only.
The Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust system is ECE type approved for cars equipped with gasoline particulate filters.
When using the optional Akrapovič Sound Kit and/or Evolution Link Pipe Set (Titanium), the ECE type approval for the Slip-On Line (Titanium) is no longer valid.
When mounting this product on Porsche Panamera V6 models the P-MF1052 fitting kit is mandatory, and for Porsche Panamera V8 models it is mandatory to purchase the P-MF1051 fitting kit. An appropriate fitting kit is also mandatory when combining the Slip-On Line (Titanium) with the optional Evolution Link Pipe Set (Titanium).
