When installing the Akrapovič Evolution Header Set on OPF/GPF vehicles, remapping the ECU is mandatory in order to prevent potential “check engine light” warning signals. When installing the Akrapovič Evolution Header Set on NON-OPF/GPF vehicles, remapping the ECU is recommended.
